Q & A to The Mandel's:

1. Is her husband aware of her letters?
2. Does he support her racial slurs?
3. Does he support her telling neighbors what to do with their money?
4. Do they speak to their children like this?
5. Was he planning on attending the "JUDGE JUDY SHOW" too?
6. Do they actually believe this is an effective manner to approach your neighbor?

Possible Q & A to The Montillo's:

1. Would you have responded if approached differently? YES
2. Would your husband support you speaking to ANYONE in this fashion? NO
3. Would you call a National Television show about your neighbor? NO
4. Would you go on a National Television Show to resolve a problem? NO
5. What do you do with your time when you are not minding your neighbor's business? We are too busy to list the things we do but we always MIND OUR OWN BUSINESS!
6. Do you tell people how to spend their money? NO (defer to #5)
7. Would you ever send a letter without your signature? NO

Since Michele Mandel has so much time, maybe when she has a moment she can stop by to answer our questions. Of course we really don't care...just curious!

Breaking our Silence....

If this whole process was to get us to break our silence then I will admit the letter from the "JUDGE JUDY SHOW" did it!

Maybe because we find humor in this sort of behavior or maybe because we never thought of violating our privacy or ANYONE else's to go on public television. I guess we should feel thankful that "Jerry Springer" didn't give her the attention she was seeking. I may have been to embarrassed to blog about "The Jerry Springer Show" as we do believe it is the same sort of "people" who contact these television shows.

The Next Day...

Since we never received any court documents I called the lovely producer of the show. The questions were simple:

What is her lawsuit against us?

How does the show solicit their stories?

The Response:

The lawsuit is not clear but after we speak to her we will gladly let you know.

Michele Mandel called the show requesting their assistance.

What a shocker! She still needs to GET A LIFE!

14 Months Later....

We thought she got a life. She has been a quiet neighbor for almost a year! Tuesday morning we wake up to DHL ringing our doorbell with a special delivery from "THE JUDGE JUDY SHOW" in LA.

About 5 Weeks Later...

We are now into the end of September 2005. She finally decided to disclose her identity. Thanks! We were very curious which one of our neighbors was a LOSER!

So many surprises! First, our neighbor still needs to get a life! Maybe someone can introduce her to a hobby? Secondly, there are convenants on our property which we weren't aware of for the past 7.5 years. Lastly, If you look around our neighborhood many people must not know! After reading this letter, we were wondering....Does this mean she doesn't like our Purple Doors? Good news Michele, they were painted purple because it is my favorite color but it was just for fun until we replace our doors. Bad news for you Michele, after speaking with Mr. Attman he is too busy to care about the color of our front doors! We do thank you for submitting a complete copy of the covenants to us. Sorry we didn't get out a "Thank you" note.

One Month Later....

About thirty days after the thoughtful card we received (dropped in our mailbox-no stamp), our sophisticated neighbor decided she would mail us a letter. Do you think she was upset about getting no response from us? Who is LAUGHING at who? Don't worry Mrs. Mandel we have better things to do with our life than laugh at you!

One Week Later in July 2005....

One of our lovely neighbors sent us this beautiful card. What a wonderful first contact! When we opened it the letter below fell out...Read to see what this talented author had to say......
